Do you remember who our first choice was? What about Thompson and the new Mayor. It all can come down to the "Bradley Effect." That said, trust no ambitious political figure, but trust in mobilizing communities who will have a VOICE. Thank you, Dr. John Marvul.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15921757.post-39396990129826160002014-11-07T13:16:25.400-05:002014-11-07T13:16:25.400-05:00Zephyr Teachout should have been supported as ICE ...Zephyr Teachout should have been supported as ICE did. We could have led union influence so Cuomo would not get Working Families Party endorsement. Teachout got around 34% with no money or name recognition. Imagine if NYSUT was behind her. Also, remember the ICE Resolution in January to oppose Cuomo that Unity defeated at DA. This should have been a year long campaign.James Eternohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13578647381229034792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15921757.post-10009872484406496632014-11-07T09:48:27.362-05:002014-11-07T09:48:27.362-05:00In every UFT gathering I have attended in the last...In every UFT gathering I have attended in the last few years the mention of Andrew Cuomo's name draws hisses. This is not just a partisan reaction. That said, who should we have endorsed? What difference would it have made? The only bright side in the post election discourse is that, while voters selected politicians along party lines, when it came to issues they voted their self interest, which tended to favor progressive positions regardless of the voters' party affiliation. We have a lot of work to do. Let's do it united.Docwashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08925857414402582836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15921757.post-83957149889207993182014-11-07T07:25:48.652-05:002014-11-07T07:25:48.652-05:00Sorry: You can complain, but you better have a sol...Sorry: You can complain, but you better have a solution. At least you know where the Republicans stand. Until Democrats try to have it both ways, they will continue to be battered (like what occurred Tuesday) and I will vote for the candidate who suits my family and my needs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15921757.post-15516417307934491552014-11-07T05:49:43.801-05:002014-11-07T05:49:43.801-05:00Whoops, sorry for the inadequate proofreading.
