PBA SHADOWS DE BLASIO

New York City public employees have to respect  the PBA campaign against the mayor, whatever you think of the police. The PBA is following Mayor Bill de Blasio around on the presidential campaign trail to publicize how poorly the mayor treats NYC city workers.

The picture taken from the NY Post is from outside the theater in Detroit where the Democratic presidential  candidates' debate is taking place tonight.

Higher healthcare costs for city workers, raises that don't beat inflation but the mayor takes care of himself with a hefty increase.

I can't disagree with anything on the truck.

  1. Let's not forget the horrible working conditions NYC teachers face with the Danielson observations and the tremendous number of 3020a hearings. Teachers in too many NYC schools are working in hostile work environments with this mayor in charge. Another school year like the recent ones with the Danielson harassment and I will NOT vote for any Democrat in 2020.

  2. im surprised that anyone is surprised that big-state socialists, who know how you should live, exempt themselves from the same dicta. there are those who support freedom and its consequences, and those who support the modern democratic/socialist/progressive/communist party.
but move along--nothing to see here.

  3. DeBlasio (and folks like Bernie, Warren and Harris) scares the public with ideas on universal free (!) healthcare, de-criminializing illegal (!) immigration, reparations to descendants of slavery, free (!) college, the Green New Deal, etc. He's probably baffled that the majority of the nation finds him (and Bernie, Warren, and Harris) to be wacky. No doubt DeBlasio - and the progressives in general - will be equally baffled when Biden wins the Dem primary easily.

Lefties have been baffled before (McGovern was seen as a shoo-in for the left...they are still shell-shocked in disbelief he won just one measly state v Nixon)

  4. Also, the head of the SBA, (Sergeants Benevolent Association), has been publicly calling out the mayor on his soft approach on crime. Just imagine if Mulgrew actually said something critical about the chaos in our schools to the mayor in a public format. Keep imagining because it is never going to happen in reality.

  5. So, they had the meeting, what happened with 12/23? Please realize, it is not 1 day, if you plan to go away, you now must wait until 12/24, vs having Sat, Sun and Mon off.

  7. Right wing solution is to privatize everything and bust unions. How does that help working people?
