STRONGER TOGETHER MEETS IN ROCHESTER

For the second straight year before the New York State United Teachers Representative Assembly began, the Stronger Together Caucus met. This year it was in Rochester. As you can see in the photo below, it was standing room only at the ST meeting.

ST Caucus is the statewide opposition to Michael Mulgrew's Unity Caucus. It is highly recommended that everyone pay $10 to join.

ST Caucus elected Mike Lillis to be the new Chair. Beth Dimino is retiring. MORE's Mike Schirtzer was reelected to be the Vice Chair for New York City.

Mike Lillis said of Beth: "I've never seen a stronger leader." Can't argue with that.

Passing the torch from Dimino to Lillis
We'll try to send out any other news from the NYSUT RA when we get it.

  2. Unity is pulling out all the stops for Hillary. No surprise here.

  3. Unity's endorsement is the kiss of death. There's a solid chance Bernie could pull it.
