REMINDER ATR MEETING AT CUNY THIS AFTERNOON

Don't forget that today, November 19th, at 1:00 p.m. is the information session for Absent Teacher Reserves and our supporters. It will be held at the CUNY Graduate Center on 5th Avenue between 34th and 35th Street in Manhattan on the fifth floor.

  • My wife Camille and I will be there too.

    Good meeting and lots of information. Thank you to MORE/NA for trying to stand up for and organize ATR's. As a chapter leader, I feel better prepared to help ATR's assigned to my school.

    The 40 people who gave up a Saturday to hear Chaz School Daze share his immense knowledge did not seem to think it was a waste of time. Many of them shared their own knowledge - about what the UFT will and won't do if asked. They wanted us to do a follow up which we will plan after the xmas vacation and may meet regularly every 2 months. I know I learned a lot.
