HELP WANTED: NYSUT SEEKS A PRESS SECRETARY

I saw this help wanted ad today.

Press Secretary, NYSUT
NYSUT, a Union of Professionals, seeks an experienced Press Secretary to lead our media relations strategy.  Will serve as chief on-the-record spokesperson, cultivate and manage relationships with the members of the media, coordinate rapid response and crisis communications efforts, and help train local union leaders in working with the news media, write draft op-eds. Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience. Apply here by 12.12.18.

I have been a press spokesperson for ICEUFT for a decade. Do you think I might be qualified? And I don't have a paid job right now.

Any of our readers, particularly some of our more creative commenters, interested?

  1. You're overqualified for this job.

  2. Joseph Goebbels is not available. I think you might be qualified. (And yes, this is a dark joke, but a joke none the less)

  3. James, so you took down the blog on the Middle College principal. I was about ot blast you on it.

We are tired of your BS trying to villainize principals based on your one sided stories from your friends.

The majority of teachers in this school and other schools you've tried to villainze their principal hate you. You claim you want harmony among UFT constituents. Yet you fail to realize that there are always teachers in support of whatever principal your friends tell you to post about, causing more division and hatred for you, especially since they are ALWAYS one sided.

James, do something better with your life.
