That dude in the NY Post is a total tool! He talks about how gross and dirty schools are and how he gets to work in his pajamas at home yet claims he "wants to be back in his classroom". He also states that "Mulgrew does not speak for the rank and file teacher", yet it IS MULGREW WHO IS PUSHING FOR CLASSROOMS TO BE OPEN. Screw that guy and screw Mulgrew. The fact is that the UFT has not asked the elementary and D75 teachers if they feel safe and supported in the buildings.
You heard the new prez, folks. Just like the old president. Wants schools open. You heard the old governor. Just like the old president. He wants the economy open. Wall Street happy so far. Giving myself a $1600 raise come June while another corporatist runs the country and the investor class gets richer. Life is sweet. I mean except for the working class. But hey somebody’s got to suffer in order to maintain the status quo.
