STAFF CAN VOLUNTEER FOR COVID TESTING STARTING DECEMBER 6

Well, this is a start on staff COVID-19 testing.. Make sure to give three days notice to get tested. In a sane system, everyone would be able to be tested regularly.

  1. Was there a town hall yesterday? I haven't seen anything about it anywhere.

  2. Soooo, this means that if I were exposed to a covid positive student at school, I would have to wait 3 days and then notify my school testing center that I want a test?Sounds oh so...stupid.

  3. 805. I signed simply to test out of precaution and it's not stupid. It's not possible to simply have tests on demand at a school. Try getting a walk up appt at a walk in clinic and see how that goes especially an office full of Thanksgiving related possible cases. It's not perfect but it's a step in the right direction.

  4. Does anyone have the notes from the town hall? Where is the recording? I logged in and saw it was recording so I assumed we would receive a copy. Please post it or share who in the UFT can provide it.

  5. The new protesting procedure is so full of regulations that none of us will ever get tested. They're only going to start testing staff after the students are done. They're going to leave at the assigned time...

  6. We must give consent three days prior to the test date? So then, where is this schedule of test dates for any given school? I've never seen a schedule so there no way I can give consent three days prior.

  9. Good point 5:03.
I posted the link about possibly no mandate fir staff.yoday, I see the article is not in the usual general search...I guess the media pulled it quick while they poison these poor kids. Suddenly there is a bed shortage? Gee, might it be because they created it by firing the health care workers who refused the shot, thus closing units?these liars are good liars.i know someone who works in a queens hospital.he said there are patients in the covidcward who don't seem sick. I guess they will catch it from the sick ones so as to make the numbers suit the narrative.horseshit...
