  1. Voting for Mulgrew is equivalent to a Russian voter voting for Putin, meaning both are mislead by fake information and they are subservient peasants to their respective "oligarchic regime".

Is it possible that teachers can be so weak, cowardly and ignorant that Mulgrew wins this upcoming election?

  2. The only teacher in my school that even knows that there is an election coming up is the CL and he hasn't mentioned anything. I asked him about the candidates and he had no clue.

    1. @546 am... I'm not surprised. Is it possible that the CL is just a figure head/stand in tool for both the principal and Mulgrew? Maybe the CL's focus is more on keeping the target off their back and less on Mulgrew's shenanigans. If you and your colleagues like the direction the union is going in--vote Mulgrew. If you don't, vote for change. Vote UFC. My question would include how will grade fraud be addressed when admin pressures the staff to pass students. How will UFC support those teachers who are targeted by administrators.

  3. 8:10, yes, because most teachers are dumb. they have little if any understanding of their retirement benefits and are ignorant of the world outside of work. very sad for some of the most educated city employees.

    1. I wouldn't say they are the most educated city employees.

  4. Get rid of Principal Dwarka the sooner the better.

  5. Dwarka has thrived with the UFT under Mulgew. Let's see what new leadership will do.

  6. is dwarka still a thing ? havent heard much from current staff or the papers or anything

  7. Our principal eliminated the chapter leader position. They used the name of a staff member so the UFT wouldn't have to investigate further. Essentially we have know UFT representation only a UFTchairperson

  8. Unless Mulgrew goes away the same corruption, or nuisance in our schools will keep happening.

  9. Assholes like 8:10 are why I won’t vote for ufc. If you don’t vote the way I say you should you’re weak, cowardly or ignorant. That’s the opposition attitude. Fuck you. You’re shite like Unity. UFC claims they’ll be more democratic. I don’t believe it. All their followers are dying to get us under THEIR authoritarian thumb.

    1. @7:31 regardless, you made a lot of very ignorant comments and painted teachers with broad brushes. And you did say "most" teachers are dumb, so shut the fuck up.
