CUOMO CHARGED WITH SEX CRIME

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

 This is from CNBC:

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was charged Thursday with a misdemeanor sex crime complaint that alleges he forcibly touched a woman last Dec. 7 in the governor’sExecutive Mansion in Albany.

The filing of that complaint in Albany City Court comes two months after Cuomo resigned in disgrace following accusations of sexual harassment against the three-term Democrat by nearly a dozen women, detailed in a damning report issued by state Attorney General Letitia James.

The city court issued a summons for Cuomo to appear in that court on the afternoon of Nov. 17, according to a press release issued Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple Sr, whose investigator signed the criminal complaint.

The complaint says that Cuomo, 63, intentionally, “and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim .... and onto her intimate body part.′

’Specifically, the [victim’s] left breast for the purposes of degrading and gratifying his sexual desires.”

Forcible touching is a Class A misdemeanor. If convicted, Cuomo could be sentenced up to a year in prison, to up to three years of probation.

Eliot Spitzer, Joseph Bruno, Dean Skelos, Sheldon Silver, Eric Schneiderman, and of course now Cuomo. What a government NYS has. Corruption all over and it seems only the names and type of corruption change. Under this kind of government, why do we let teachers be subjected to an invalid observation system and other indignities? Granted, Spitzer (25-55) and Silver (prevented layoffs based on job performance) were our friends but we should stay on offense in Albany against what is a weakened state government.

  1. Off topic question:does the atr pool still exist?my friend's school in Queens is looking for several teachers.principal asked about how to obtain from the pool.were all atrs placed?

dibozo says there are no shortages though...so if he has a plan to cover shortages for teachers, health workers, sanitation, fire fighters, police, transit, the city work force must be very bloated.not right to mandate people to forfeit vacation plans and mandate overtime due to workers leaving cuz of mandate.at least we don't have that issue...

  2. Another question is can they force you to take a 6th class because they are short?

  3. 12:35: All ATRs were placed permanently in the schools they were teaching last June. The exception are any ATRs that were guilty at 3020 charges, so there is an ATR pool but it is a very limited number of teachers. You can't be forced to take a 6th class, but you can be forced to do coverages but only for a limited time. You can also be forced to teach one class out of your license.

    1. I'm not sure this is true. I'm an ATR who went through 3020a hearing and I'm being told by my principal that I'm permanently placed, although I don't believe it. I also know another teacher in my building that was moved last week and he is/was an ATR and never went through a 3020a. I basically don't believe anything the DoE says and come June there are going to be all sorts of cutbacks and excessing. Are they going to excess younger teachers over "permanently placed" ATRs? I highly doubt it!

  4. The mighty will continue to fall, many of the smart ones saw through cuomo unlike the majority. Gave this scum an emmy.

YOu will see fauci fall faster than a falling rock. He already is, nobody liked his stupid movie and he's going to be 100 times worse than Cuomo.

  5. Of course, because Fauci has to be an odb as well?

I've never heard so many unhappy teachers as walking around the school this year. Even the teachers that had a year-and-a-half break with remote teaching I have been overwhelmed with the paperwork this year.

I'll be honest I'm glad they have to do bulletin boards now like the teachers who were teaching remote stuck in my f'ing building.

  6. 2:36: We are not ATRs anymore. We all got our Seniority back and don't forget, why would they excess us from the schools if the doe is paying our salary? Remember we don't come out of the school's budget. Excessing us is meaningless. We are free help.

  7. 2:36: Also, were you found guilty of your 3020?

    1. Yes, with a $7,000 fine. Just wait. They can do whatever they like with us. It’s not the principals decision. It’s centrals. How do you explain my friend and others being moved this semester after they were told they were “permanent?”

  8. Also, if we’re not ATRs anymore, why is there still an ATR unit?

  9. Randi Weingarten made a personal (not union) robo call for Hochul during her close race against Tim Wu. So she may positioned to help teachers/AFT.
Mulgrew seems to pick non-winners. At one point, Cuomo's appointment calendar showed that Mulgrew was Cuomo's most frequent visitor. But this was a few years ago-not sure what's going on now.
