HOW TO VOTE FOR MORE IN 5 EASY STEPS

VOTING FOR MORE IS THIS SIMPLE:

  1. TEAR OFF THE FIRST SHEET OF YOUR OFFICIAL UFT ELECTION BALLOT WHEN IT ARRIVES IN THE MAIL.

2. PLACE AN X IN THE MORE BOX. (DON'T MAKE ANY MARKS NEXT TO ANY CANDIDATES' NAMES.)

3. PLACE BALLOT IN SECRET BALLOT ENVELOPE.

4. PLACE SECRET BALLOT ENVELOPE IN LARGER AAA ENVELOPE.

5. DROP IT AT THE NEAREST MAILBOX.

With these exceptions:

Do no vote for the candidates who openly disparage black and Latino students, do not vote for the candidates who are running for at large but do not attend their SLT meetings or their co-location meetings and absolutely do not vote for the Vice Presidents who rat out their fellow UFT members.

Raving Lunatic said...

Thank you. It's about time we got the conversation back to unsubstantiated allegations about nameless people. Let's please keep that up. I'm getting pretty sick of people talking about other stuff.

Anonymous said...

Yet you follow me Raving because in your heart you know it is true. The candidates for delegate include too many chapter leaders who never hold chapter meetings and have a special place in their principal's pocket.

Anonymous said...

Who cares? As long as the whims of the handful of people who scrambled together at the last minute for this slate, who cares if most of them sell out their chapters? Most of them have no idea what they agreed to. However, it is funny that candidates for Vice President sell out their chapters. Egomaniacs!

Anonymous said...

The big bomb is the candidate who did not get any signatures from their own chapter. No literature in the mailboxes either. Nothing, nada, rein. Too funny? Too embarrassed? Raving wants names. Why? These frauds are the gift that keeps on giving.

Anonymous said...

I just filled out my MORE ballot too.

Anonymous said...

Even Bloomberg debated before he was elected mayor.

Anonymous said...

Why won't Mulgrew debbate?

Raving Lunatic said...

Let's stop this talk about why Mulgrew won't debate. This is a diversion. The main topic should be my unsubstantiated accusation that a MORE member whose name I don't know did something very, very bad. This is the hot issue we should be talking about. Also let's get more into personal attacks on MORE members. Anything else is unacceptable.

Anonymous said...

sorry raving lunatic. I made the mistake of talking about something that matters.

Anonymous said...

You mean one candidate out of 185 MORE candidates? Even if true, is that all you got after all this sturm and drang?

burntoutteacher said...

My vote for the MORE slate in in the mail!

Raving Lunatic said...

One candidate out of 185 is sufficient to drive the conversation, even if I don't know who it is. I don't want to see this conversation off topic again, unless we are to accuse yet another anonymous MORE member of something. Remember, when you run against us, you are guilty until proven innocent, even if we don't know your name. That's the sort of folks we are, and that's why you need to vote for Unity/ New Action this week!

Anonymous said...

I really like the simplicity of that post. I'm amazed at some of the crazy replies it provoked. You'd think these people could eke out an argument that made some remote sense. You'd be wrong, though.

Anonymous said...

Raving Lunatic you make my day. I now know why I am so honored to be a UFT member. I am so glad I pay dues and get to do what Michael and randi tell me at the conventions. Please don't ever surrender to those people who keep blabbering on about democracy.

Anonymous said...

You know these positive alternative people actually want to cut my pay and end my double pension. Can you believe that? Union perks are important. Why else would I do this job?

Anonymous said...

So far I have counted UFT members who urge UFT members to report fellow teachers to their principal at 46. Chapter leaders who do not hold chapter meetings or attend their own SlT meetings or co-location meetings at 22. Candidates for Vice President who rat out others at 3. Not sure about all of the boroughs, but it is obvious that there was a last minute campaign.

Wife, sister, sister - in - law, mother, mother's friends in her school, many of my peers in my school and I - Cross marked MORE - DONE!

Raving Lunatic said...

I would just like to express my appreciation for those supporting double pensions. It may be true there are disadvantages to mayoral control, value-added evaluations, and making hundreds of our colleagues wandering ATRs--I'm not saying it IS true--just that it MAY be--but when I look at my double pension and wave it in front of my colleagues, they know just why they got on this gravy train.

Of course, there are principles too. Let's please move the discussion back to things like unsubstantiated accusations against people I don't know. Election season is very short.

TeachmyclassMrMayor)andyoutooMrMulgrew) said...

MORE checked...done!

Anonymous said...

Double pensions forever. Unity stands for something. And wouldn't Joe McCarthy be proud of how we attack people without an ounce of proof?

Anonymous said...

Why should your union reps work from 8am to 6pm every day and not get paid anything extra? And why shouldnt the extra pay for extra work be pensionable? If a teacher works after school, she gets paid extra, and it is pensionable. This "double pension" slander is a big lie.

mike said...

I'm voting unity/new action because I want my union to allow mayoral control, evaluation by test scores, and new untested common core standards. I hope we go another year without a contract and make our new members get tier 7 with no tenure protections.
I vote unity/new action because I believe in non-unionized charter schools

Raving Lunatic said...

Thanks Mike. I'm glad to finally hear someone stand up and support what we do. However I do not believe in non-unionized charter schools. I believe in unionized charter schools with contracts that are virtually meaningless.

mike said...

I agree, I heard these radical MORE people actually have jobs working in schools and do things like teach, I can never support something like that

Raving Lunatic said...

You know Mike, you are right. I don't actually work in a school, and I go to the DA every month. If these MORE people were worth anything, they'd all quit their jobs, go to the DA, and tell Mulgrew what a great job he's doing. Mulgrew is a sensitive guy, and there's nothing he likes better than, "I think you're doing great," and "I think you're doing even better than the last guy who said you were doing great."

It's the sacred duty of every chapter leader to go there and tell Mulgrew what a great job he's doing. Why don't these MOREons understand that?

It's a question of values. What happened to values?

mike said...

There was a MORE chapter leader once who had her foot stepped on by accident and screamed, then when she went home she was looking for a TV show and flipped on Fox News for a second on the way to the next channel. I could never vote for these crazy teachers, I vote for the retirees of new action who last stepped in a classroom when I was in diapers or unity leaders who have months of actual teaching experience

Raving Lunatic said...

I am horrified that MORE people watch Fox News, even for a second. I get all my news from the DA, Edwize and NY Teacher. I don't even read my mail. You never know what might be in it. I'm lucky all my bills are paid by the union.

Anonymous said...

These moreons are objecting to our Unity expense accounts. How else are we supposed to pay for the quail when we are in Albany? Do you expect us to pay from our $150,000 salaries? The nerve of these ungrateful teachers who post here.

Anonymous said...

That was a great comment from Raving Lunatic as usual. Randi said we have to unionize the charter schools. Give them ten page useless contracts but give us all the dues. It keeps the gravy train running.

Anonymous said...

Good post, James, beneficial to all as you know people will fill out the ballot wrong and be disenfranchised, whoever they vote for. The value of it is much diluted by your fellow MORE faithful who slam the very people who are working hard (and yes, they are compensated - mostly NOT = to what they do)to fight for them. Keep it up guys; you put more tallies in the Unity column with every word. And go to war with New Action, that's a good strategy - why look for allies when you can fight a two front war? Anger everyone who you might build a coalition with, prominently display folks who post about world wide revolution, keep talking about striking as the answer to all problems (because the average rank and filer is just itching to strike), lie about the UFT not forming alliances among civil rights and parent groups.

mike said...

These MORE people want a contract, you have salary steps why do you complain. Bachelors, masters plus 30 more credits all for 50,000 bucks a year in NYC- that's plenty to live on. I love my salary steps and tier 6, vote unity/new action

Anonymous said...

Chicago gave up their perks when CORE was elected. Unity will never. Double pensions forever. Don't you know the song: Double pensions forever; double pensions forever; double pensions forever- for the UFT makes me fat.

mike said...

MORE would have been better off making an alliance with new action, they're the real opposition party after all they run Michael Mulgrew as their candidate and know how to make backroom political deals. STOP trying to mobilize members, learn how to lobby, I want to make sure Randi has a seat at every table with the corporate reformers.

Raving Lunatic said...

I agree Mike. Your insights are really helpful. Maybe I can get you in. I hear they're going to open up the books pretty soon. You have to swear loyalty, though. That's the way we run this thing of ours. On the other hand, you can make a whole lot more than the duespayers will ever see. You know what omerta is, don't you?

Anonymous said...

Thank you Raving Lunatic and Mike for your valuable insights. Now can we attack another More candidate who we don't even know. As someone above said, we are gaining valuable votes through our work here. I know lots of members who base their votes on anonymous comments on a blog.

Raving Lunatic said...

That's what we're working toward, and that's why we don't waste time with silly debates on "issues."

mike said...

Mulgrew is our leader and he doesn't have to debate anyone. Just look at his splendid record, he signed on to race to the top, common core, Danielson, mayoral control. These are the type of policies that protect teachers and lead to more learning in the classroom.
Oh once I was at a newsstand and I saw Julie touch a NY Post, how can anyone vote for her

Raving Lunatic said...

And let me point out that she has all that hair. Wouldn't it get caught on the lectern at the DA? And how could we cheer for Mike if the person at the lectern was named Julie? It's all very disturbing to me.

mike said...

Since we're exposing people, I want to expose James Eterno. At a DA a couple of months we the UNITY/NA caucus planned to endorse a politician, it was even on our script. Well this Eterno character had the nerve to stand up and tell delegates that this politician supports co-locations and charters. We then took a vote and there were more hands against the candidate then for. We at unity/NA decided for this particular vote the minority choice would be the winner and we went ahead as on script and endorsed this UFT friendly politician. That's why all of us need to go to DAs, because democracy always wins (or sometimes)

Raving Lunatic said...

I too have seen this Eterno character at work, Mike. I'm sure you remember when we made the excellent agreement to send ATRs from school week to week that we made so Bloomberg would stop threatening to fire teachers. This was, of course, after he said he wouldn't give us the raise every other union got.

Well, while I was hard at work assuring nervous Nellies that the DOE was too incompetent to carry that off, there was much discussion, and everyone was telling Mulgrew what a fabulous idea this was. But this Eterno character stood up and said, get this, at a debate BOTH SIDES of an issue have to be aired.

Can you imagine that? He said it was Robert's Rules or something. Anyway, Mike let one guy speak, and he blurted out some commie pinko socialist nonsense. Naturally, we ignored him and voted the right way.

Anonymous said...

I just read the comments. I read all the names on the ballot. I am looking to vote exclusively for Raving Lunatic. You are what modern unionism is all about.

mike said...

Raving lunatic you really are one, both sides of a debate at a debate WTF is wrong with you, heresy you say. We at unity/NA agree never to disagree

Raving Lunatic said...

What really gets me lately is that they keep answering back when we insult them. They keep bringing up items that are not on our agenda and expecting us to not only listen, but respond. How the hell are we supposed to keep a seat at the table if we do that?

Anonymous said...

My mother in law just sent in her MORE vote. She is calling her friends to do the same.. Maybe this thing spreads.

mike said...

I just ran into a New Action candidate. this guy is really in touch with the issues we have in the class-room. he told me about the time he taught in the 90's and then offered me his VHS tapes, 8 tracks , and rexos. NO ONE at MORE ever offered me this. I did try telling him about my smartboard, but he yelled that "no boards are smart", he then showed me his projector slides. Im voting New Action

Raving Lunatic said...

I respect that choice. New Action is the responsible opposition because they always support the Unity presidential candidate. And if they didn't, we'd pull those ten seats and Shulman's part-time job in a heartbeat. In our UFT, we encourage free and open debate, as long as it's with an opposition we control absolutely.

Anonymous said...

Discriminating against age and senior teachers? Just as bad as the racist teachers who make fun of black and Latino students.

mike said...

We should never make fun of the retirerees and teachers with 6 months of class room experience who run our union. The only retiree we are allowed to make fun of is Norm Scott, that crazy old guy never sticks to the unity/NA script. We have asked him for years not to make fun of us, but he continues to criticize our pro-teacher policies of RTTT, CCSS, and Danielson. We here at UNITY/NA only allow our members to make fun of those who disagree with us

Anonymous said...

And never make fun of the candidates on the More slate who skip their SLT meetings, skip their co-location hearings, ignore and make fun of their senior teachers, rat out their fellow teachers to the principal for letters to the file and termination, complain about students of color and those with special needs. They are the foundation of this slate.

Anonymous said...

Jeez, will you get with the program? It's important to make those unsubstantiated accusations on a regular basis, otherwise who will even know? What do you want to talk about? Mulgrew's unwillingness to debate? Our support of mayoral control? Our embrace of value-added measurements?

Get with the program!!! You will never make it to the Unity Caucus with that attitude!!!

mike said...

I agree with anonymous (why are all of us at unity/NA named anonymous - I'm confused) we should only make fun of women teachers with children who miss one DA
We work long and hard preparing a script and telling everyone how to vote
We even prepare softball questions for Stuart Kaplan and Peter goodman to Toss
The least you all can do is show up, how can we have democracy if your all not there to vote the same way

Raving Lunatic said...

I agree, Mike. It's important to blame Norm Scott for everything as often as possible. Who the hell does he think he is to question us? Let's please get the discussion back to MORE members we can't name doing all sorts of terrible things. I hate it when people go off-message. Dirtbags.

Raving Lunatic said...

Mike, you hit the nail on the head. Who the hell do these people think they are, taking care of sick babies? I hear they only take care of babies because they hate union.

Anonymous said...

What color are the babies they take care of? Maybe they are racist.

Anonymous said...

The Vice President of. Elementary schools was eight months pregnant when she started her term. When the More slate loses, they will blame New Action. Quote from an independent chapter leader: "I agree with some of their platforms, but they picked the worst people. ----------- from my school told teachers to report --------. ".

SCi is all over the member now. Vote for the More slate so we can all have 3020a.

Raving Lunatic said...

This is more like it. It's about time we finally got back to accusing people we can't name of things we don't know what they are. Let's keep it going!!!

Anonymous said...

The point Raving is that the members know. No one from these chapters will vote for the More slate because these candidates rat out their members. Equally important, why were they allowed to put their names in? There are a handful of dedicated, hardworking chapter leaders on this slate, but too many rats. The background of the candidates were not considered. When members have their livelihoods threatened, when it is public knowledge within the chapter, do you think the members will choose termination? You probably want me to make disparaging remarks about different leaders of different groups. You miss the point entirely. You need a weed wacker so that only advocates are on a slate. . By the way, not only was the Vice President of Elementary schools eight months pregnant when she started, there are many UFT reps who have taken maternity leave.

Anonymous said...

I saw a MORE member standing outside the DA, refusing to go in, and torturing small animals. Naturally I was horrified. She said if I reported her she would rat me out for the unnatural act I was performing on the sidewalk. Unity would never do that.

Raving Lunatic said...

I'm encouraged by the comments on this blog. I think the Unity/ New Action tactic of accusing nameless people of unspecified acts is going to catch on. Usually you would have to go to the National Enquirer to see such things, but if we can just convince enough members that MORE is composed of space aliens we ought to be able to win handily. It's not everywhere you can get serious responses to raving lunatics. That's why I just love campaign season.

Anonymous said...

I saw a MORE member get on a rocket ship with an Elvis impersonator. He was singing "Return to Sender," but playing a guitar with eight strings. I think it was a balalaika or some other such commie instrument.

Fed Up Teacher said...

Love the quotes from nameless people accusing other nameless people of reporting other nameless people. This is a great debate. If that's what Unity debate is, I can understand why Mulgrew doesn't want to do it in public.

Four years no raise.

I just voted for MORE.

Anonymous said...

Raving is mad funny. The shame of it is that people in the More slate do rat out members. That is why I will not vote for a slate. The stirrings have been great though - people keep providing more names with More names who are rats. Time to park a big inflatable rat outside each of their chapters? Cannot thank you enough Raving. Your inquiries are giving me more names of More rats. Election season is fun!

Raving Lunatic said...

Thank you very much. Let's keep it going!!!

Fed Up Teacher--You are way out of line. There shall be no criticism of our criticism. We don't need to provide you with any stinking names. If we say it happened, that ought to be good enough for you!

Now go to your mailbox, fish out that ballot, white out the X, and vote UNITY!!!!

Anonymous said...

Mulgrew should debate. He could say _______________ from _______________ school, got _______________ in trouble. Not only that, but ____________ from ______________ ratted out _____________________. And _____________ from ____________________ is trying to get _______________ fired!

How could he lose with a line like that?

James Eterno said...

I enjoy the satire but I have to advise again kids google me and this is sometimes where they are sent so please no profanity. It's much more creative to use some different adjectives.

Anonymous said...

Raving you can keep saying that but you are about as appealing as bass player Sid Vicious.

Anonymous said...

Even though More will blame New Action when they lose, that cannot be the reason why the leaders of More not holding their own members accountable. It is because they could not find enough people to run, and just took anyone at the last minute, or is it because these rats have fooled them? The chapter members should either recall the rats or run against the rats. For those who are the rats as chapter members, no one will take them seriously. However, More is secretly saying, " Rats!" Flurry of postings and phone calls. who are these rats? Hmmmmmmmm

Raving Lunatic said...

Oh, boy, playing the bass card. I knew someone here would call me a bassist. That's too much.

Seriously, let's just keep calling the MORE folks rats, and lay off me altogether. They are all rats, and they all just want to get teachers in trouble for no reason. If they should ever win, they would work to fire every teacher, first by ratting them out, and then by taking their jobs.

Then they would just be one teacher in every school, collecting a hundred teacher salaries.

They can't fool us! Vote UNITY! That way you know what you're getting.

Raving Lunatic said...

Again, they are rats. Just ratty rats. The rattiest.

Anonymous said...

Raving is mad funny. I like you. Let's make a deal. Let's have only independent chapter leaders and delegates debate, then the More people have to rat out their rats. Remember - it is not the entire slate. There are some genuinely hardworking and dedicated union members on the slate. But you need More of them and did find them in time. They are out there. But it was a logistical mistake to let anyone join. The same would go for New Action or Unity. Only solid advocates should be recruited. Do you disagree?

Anonymous said...

Ballot sent. more is better.

Raving Lunatic said...

I object to your characterization of Unity and New Action leaders as rats. They are Perfect in Every Way, like Mary Poppins. Everyone in MORE is a Rat. And I have come across top secret campaign papers that one of their candidates, __________ from _________ has a top secret plan to rat out everyone. Therefore everyone must vote for unity. or new action, so that MORE can blame them when they lose, instead of the rat, ratty, rats.

However I like your idea of just the independent chapter leaders debating, because then Mulgrew won't have to. I'm certain the rats at more would just deny their rattiness, rats that they are. However, if they will simply get up and call themselves a bunch of rats, we don't need any debate anyway.

Ratty rat rats. Fat rats. Splat rats. Rats.

Anonymous said...

You are funny Jeff.

Anonymous said...

Have to go correct homework now, but will look for you later Raving. ------ keeps asking me to name the rats. Nah. This is More fun. Chapters should recall the rats and run against the rats. Dedicated union members should start a new caucus called the Raving Lunatics. I nominate you for the president.

Raving Lunatic said...

My caucus is Unity, and if not Unity then New ACtion in a pince, so the rats can blame them instead of admitting how ratty they are.

We don't need to name the rats. The important thing is to keep repeating how ratty they are. Remember, _________ ratted out __________ over at ______________. What more does a duespayer need to know before voting for us?

And again, I am not a bassist. There is nothing so reprehensible as playing the bass card in a discussion. Remember, anonymous and I are ready to name the rats. Well not exactly name them, but accuse them, and why would we accuse them if they weren;t guilty, guilty, guilty?

Consarn rats.

Anonymous said...

James is a dedicated chapter leader. Thank you James for having the guts to allow posts without blocking or censoring Raving Lunatic is mad funny. Yet I would like to know what the process was for selecting candidates for More. James is hardworking, but there are people who are deeply troubled on this list. Did they just show up to a meeting and that's that? Leaders of any organization have to make decisions. What would you do Raving if it were brought to your attention that you have candidates who actively urge other teachers to report their fellow UFT members? Would you remove them and educate them that the members should stand together in solidarity? I am going to attend a meeting and ask since you have been avoiding the answer.

NYC Educator is another dedicated chapter leader. It just so happens that he made a list of those for whom he will vote. There are people from all three caucuses. As soon as the lost was up, people made disparaging remarks about the candidates from Unity. Should not an experienced chapter leader be treated with respect and his choices valid? If he chooses not to vote for strangers, isn't his vote more informed?

Fun's fun; but it is a tad troubling to see more than 80 comments posted in this "Fun Parade" -- far more than many excellent and more serious posts have received.

Time to stop with the "satire", I think -- some of which will not be fully understandable as such to the uninitiated -- and get back to the business of real life.

My vote for MORE went out on Day 1.

Ellen the original post with the directions on how to vote was quite serious.

People should hold onto their ballots and bring them to school tomorrow. On one's duty free lunch, one should comb over the 750 names with fellow teachers. Ask around and get people's feedback. Then vote for the dedicated, hardworking advocates. The ballots are not due for a couple of weeks. This is what democracy looks like!

NYC Educator said...

How can we create a better union without destroying people?

Carmen Alvarez
Amy Arundell
Alan Ettman

Jonathan Halabi

Laura Tamburo

Anonymous said...

People urging a split vote know full well a non slate vote is a wasted vote. In 2010 there were 1300 people who did not vote slate and when the caucus percentages are figured out no one adds those in. And that is all that people look at. So don't waste your vote. If you like Julie vote MORE. If you like Mulgrew vote Unity. Why vote New Action as a cheap imitation of Unity when you can get the real thing?

Trying to live up to raving lune said...

Speaking of rats, Portelos was sold out by his chapter leader who ran on the New Action slate in 2010. Over half the complaints filed against Francesco were by this guy. There are Unity people who have cozy deals with principals and sell out their members every day. And district reps who cozy up to principals.

Anonymous said...

If a chapter leader rats out their fellow members, then the members should ask for a recall, then run against the chapter leader. 12:00 am and 12:07 am are avoiding the issue raised. It would not matter which of the three, and some say there are still five groups, with which one associates. If anyone rats out their fellow UFT members, they should not be on a slate at all. To respond that there are bad people in other groups does not address accountability in one's own group. Yet another good reason to vote for dedicated, hardworking individuals. Sorry 12:07, but Raving is mad funnier.

Anonymous said...

So let's get that recall on. Why don't you work on that? When New Action's Candia ratted out Portelos the school elected Francesco chapter leader. So all you have to do is name the person and school. And everyone would thank you for doing the research instead of beating around the bush. So simple. Tell the truth instead of trying to slime everyone. If such a person exists MORE would probably like to know.

Raving Lunatic said...

I'm a little disappointed here. First of all, we should not be naming names of Unity or New Action folks who've done wrong. While we don't actually know the names of the MORE members we're accusing, it's important we not only continue to do it, but also consider them convicted with no evidence whatsoever.

That is the program, that is the agenda, and there will be no deviation from it.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Anonymous said...

Back to the Gloria stuff. Unity has nothing else to offer. Just look at the pitiful Unity leaflets. The sad part about all of this is they will probably win overwhelmingly again and just keep screwing us over. Enjoy your double pensions. And if you aren't getting a double pension, you sold out for next to nothing.

Raving Lunatic said...

Of course I will enjoy my double pension. It's not easy to get a gig at 52 Broadway you know. Before you even get in you have to run around and stuff mailboxes, which is undignified for someone of my caliber. Not only that, but in another three years I will likely have to do it again.

In my golden years, I will have my double pension as a reward. For those of you who stuff mailboxes without a double pension, all I can say is your judgment is one more reason I not only question your leadership, but also continue to make unsubstantiated accusations about people I don't even know.

It seems to work. And let me tell you, it won't be easy sitting around 52 Broadway knowing that in three short years they will probably make me work again. How could you cruel people talk of depriving me of my double pension? Don't I come here regularly and let you know what the rules are?

Ingrates.

To 7:37pm and Raving Lunatic- the truth comes from a chapter leader who went to every School Governance Committee meeting with no caucus affiliation whatsoever. Gloria lied at the Delegate Assembly. This chapter leader will not vote for a caucus. You forget to keep in mind that independent chapter leaders are not so easily swayed by bizarre moments such as Gloria changing her story.

Personally, whoever Gloria is and whatever she did, I am horrified she changed her story. The only excuse for such a thing is when Unity decides it's necessary. For example, when we said teachers would never be judged by test grades, and then changed our minds and changed the law so all teachers would be judged by test grads, that's OK.

But whatever Gloria, whoever Gloria is, changed her mind about is unacceptable. You may tell her I said so, and of course I support you 110%. Please keep up the good work, and please keep the focus on these vital issues..

Good to hear from you Raving. It's nice to see you are up so early monitoring the blog for Unity. I'm glad you have worked just as hard to make sure we have secured a contract in the last four years. Oh wait, we don't have one now do we? Other city unions got contracts with an actual raise. Oh well, I don't care.

Interesting how if one person or group or caucus does something wrong that the response is what another person or group or caucus does wrong somehow negates it. Was hoping that there would be real analysis. Many members are against mayoral control. Must some type of insult be included to get a genuine response by the More slate? Why were there only two members on the School Governance Committee? Didn't the leaders plan to write a minority report?

Please stop talking about raises and mayoral control and focus on issues like Gloria, whoever that is, changing her mind about something. Also, let's get into more detail over the issue of the MORE member whose name we don't know doing something bad to someone else we don't know.

These are the serious issues. Let's not sully ourselves with talk of money, please.

6:06 am- You are dead wrong because Unity never makes a mistake. I will see you in DC at the convention. It sure beats working in a school.

No mayoral control, raise for each year, two members admit they made a mistake. That is what we need.

Loony Raver to 8:25pm. We need to do More.

No More testing --- cannot question them because they become Raving Lunatics.

And vote for MORE.

And vote UNITY. The largest negotiation a MORE slate member was involved in was probably for a car or a house. Mulgrew will do right by the rank and file and bring us a contract that makes us want to vote yes. Do right by Mulgrew and the rank and file... Vote UNITY

He did so well with that atr deal. Sending them from school to school each week shows his terrible negotiating skills. Vote MORE

Could Raving Lunatic please respond? We miss your insight. Have you recovered yet from the hangovers from the NYSUT Convention parties in DC last week?
