JAMAICA HS ALUMNA SETS UP FUND FOR ST JUDES CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL IN MEMORY OF CHAZ

All of us miss blogger Chaz who passed away from COVID-19 a few months back. We certainly could use Eric's insights during the current crisis.

The alumni from Jamaica High School have not forgotten about the Earth Science Teacher they knew as Mr. Chasanoff.

Kas Khan has set up a fundraiser for St Judes Children's Research Hospital in memory of Eric Chasanoff on Facebook. I am happy to support them in this effort.

Please donate if you are able to.

From Facebook:

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital below. It's in the memory of Eric Chasanoff.

Families never receive a bill froFm St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and we won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries we make, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. #StJude

Well done. He is truly missed. Chaz's blog was truly a blog of the rank and file in the trenches. He is missed tremendously. Thank you for posting this.
