Start looking for the ballots for the UFT election in the mail. They are being mailed out Friday. I will be going to schools again tomorrow to help distribute United for Change literature as are many other UfC supporters. Thanks to everyone who has helped out with the campaign. We have to get out the vote now.

I wish UFC would try to bring back seniority rights and seniority transfers. It's not right some people have to be stuck in crummy schools.

But Shanghai looks like a powder keg for China, where the party-state justifies its rule by casting itself as guardian of the people’s health and welfare. Shanghai’s residents are growing desperate. People are complaining on social media that they are unable to get food and water delivered. When some began shouting protests out their windows, demanding supplies in one Shanghai neighborhood, a drone flew by and warned them to stop, and to please "control the soul’s desire for freedom."

There is no questioning Camille's qualifications to be the UFT president. But Mulgrew was as successful in ducking her as the UFC was unsuccessful in promoting her. With the amount of social media exposure that was possible this opportunity was missed. No one else in my school knows UFC exists.
Tell us what your school is. We will try to get you some leaflets. You can put them in the mailboxes legally or get leaflets from the United for Change website. Up to all of us to spread the word.

sorry to ask off topic question but i am new. My child had to quarantine for 3 days right before Thanksgiving (age 5), i stayed home i have an emailed letter from his school saying he must stay home. can I use CAR to cover this absence if i now have used my 10 sick days. If yes i think it would mean 10 sick days PLUS 3 CAR DAYS=13 days in all????? HELP
To the Guy Complaining Repeatedly that I won't Publish about Camille's 3020A,
Camille never had a 3020A hearing so you couldn't have worked on it. I will not print absolutely false information. Camille was under a vicious attack from some awful administrators and acknowledges help from UFT's Ellen Proceda, Rona Freiser and others in helping her win grievances but also notes the failure of the UFT to do anything for the Chapter that was destroyed in part due to UFT inaction. Camille's record was cleared through the grievance process and PERB and so it never came to a 3020A. Just about everyone acknowledges that she is a great teacher. Please be accurate and we print the criticisms but we won't print outright falsehoods.

In my opinion the image shown from this video is far better, comes across as stronger, more powerful, than the one that is currently on her flyer/poster. The other pic doesn't depict someone who will fight and win.
sad I asked a question about covid related sick days and no one replied not even anybody running for office. Plenty of talk about whom to vote for,but not interested in earning my vote sad sad
You are over 10 but you can use days for personal business but you will need a medical note for some of your own days since you are over 10.
