Agreed 3:36! Need as much exposure as possible if we want a shot.

Must have campaign outreach to retirees.

Hey Camille !

I wish you luck. Hopefully, you’ve changed your views on mandates. You will lose well over 25% of UFT votes if you are pro-mandate.
Read the writing on the wall.

James it's time to leave this 3 year mask and vaccine mandate. You have been and are on the wrong side of history and you blog surely will demonstrate that.

Camille needs to come out for ALL staff and stop with mandates, get everyone back together. Supreme court shot it down and we both know if the supreme court upheld the mask ruling you would have posted about it.

Anonymous said...

Yes James, we must bring some rational discussion to this issue regarding the mandates and such. It must be addressed.

James Eterno said...

You know where Camille stands. She said it on CNN.

Anonymous said...

857, 841, 1202, you are all in the minority regarding your view of the mandates. most people actually support them. for better or worse, that is where there can be room for debate. but at this time, the majority of the nation supports mandates and a democratic nation should follow the will of the majority. is that always a wise idea? again, there is room for debate here, but if we want a democracy then this is how it must be until popular consensus changes.

I agree.i was disappointed in mulgrew and enraged at Randi.then Camille is no different.if it is ok to have members be forced out over this, then the two platforms are equally not caring about people's livelihoodd.look at the health care workers who lost jobs.as they say, from hero to zero.now a shortage was created.they encourage contagious vaxxed workers to administer patient care due to the shortage while covid free unvaxxed workers lost their jobs.it isn't about health.this is obvious.yes I agree in general about democracy post.but when the people have been fleeced and scammed. The peeps need to be tarred and feathered.they are being brought up on trial in the international court.this is Sodom and gemorrah...where judges like Sotomayor have decided the cases before hearing the arguments.

Anonymous said...

this country has never cared about peoples livelihoods. otherwise we would have seen a response to Covid that attempt to prevent spread and infection. the country only cares about production, and profit making, all off the backs of workers.

There are many reasons beyond masks and vax mandates to support a change in our union. Vote for the things that separate United For Change from the Unity caucus. Vote for Change, or expect things to keep getting worse.

Anonymous said...

Unity does the work of betraying us. Unity does the work that the mayor demands to help NY city when the cupboard is bare at the start of contract negotiations. Unity does the work of mayoral stooges.

Anonymous said...

Yes there are other issues besides.however, not fighting for people's rights to earn a living doesn't bode well with me-just because she is pro vax.

Why does everyone have issues with masks? The mask has helped solve the flu pandemic as we hardly hear about the flu anymore because people are wearing masks and there simply are just less germs around due to people wearing masks and the masks controlling the spread of saliva or whatever comes out of mouths and nose or vice versa whatever goes in. So, in the future I may consider wearing my mask when I shop at the supermarket or drug pharmacy. If I attend a huge event where there are thousands of people spewing germs galore, I will be wearing my mask.

Cowards. Thousands of great teachers, aids etc and just because they are in the minority they should be ignored and ostracized even when your big wonderful dream of this vaccine has turned into a nightmare. The narrative is gone and there is not turning back.

These are the same people whom if Trump was in office during this Afghnistan debacle would be having 24/7 news 24/7 impeachments, yet no impeachments or nothing for BIden.

No care for the terrible border, immigrants flooding in with no vaccine no nothing.

No care for the worst inflation in 40 plus years, you stay quiet not, other way around all pissed.

No care for the lawless cities and policies that are ruining new york cali etc.

You are the people including James who we should be listening too???? Not one person on this blog even mentioned they regret voting for Biden you all stay quiet, you are not leaders you are weak minded baby sheep.

Anonymous said...

I saw an article today about how biden is deliberately doing this crap at the borders.hebis Dr evil incarnate.so Trump was a racist for border closures?then all these closing countries are too.i hate this skeleton.
BTW. The gov is compiling lists of those who applied for exemptions...

Anonymous said...

Trump was in office for Afghanistan, for four years he had a chance to do something. And for Syria, and Yemen (for which he vetoed the bill that would've put that one to an end), and Libya, the DRC, Somalia, failed illegal coups in Venezuela and Cuba, and a coup in Bolivia. They're all War Criminals. All cause debacles. Garbage in, garbage out. I know he's your daddy, but he ain't no damn different than the new guy.

Tourists coming in with no vaccine, nothing too. No checks for this upon entering the US, and this is how most people stay here unlawfully, by overstaying visas. Why only focus on the southern border? hmmmm

Inflation? presidents don't make a difference, they don't control capital, or set prices. 50 years of stagnant wages, that never kept up with inflation or production rates. it's the system, not the headpiece.

lawless? then what exactly are all these laws? why do we have more prisoners than any country in the history of the world? you'd think with the largest police forces, it wouldn't be such a problem. go after the root causes of crime if you want things to ever change. otherwise the circus will play on.

didn't vote for biden, or your personal shepherd.

Anonymous said...

Anon2323 - Of course I DON'T regret voting for Biden when the other option on ballot was Trump. Nope, don't regret it, not even a little bit. Why would anyone in their right mind want to vote for a despot, a raving lunatic who does nothing but rant and rage and threaten to jail his political opponents, real or imagined. Why would ANY NYer want to vote for anyone who wanted NY to rot and threatened to withhold funding during the pandemic. He's a nutjob, and so is anyone who supports him.

Anonymous said...

417. they're both trash and have very little difference between them.

Anonymous said...

Does ufc have access to member emails to promote themselves? Media ads? There needs to be publicity.if I didn't read this blog, I wouldn't have heard of her or ufc.

Anonymous said...

I only found the blog when I read chaz,s blog.no memory of how...it was at some point in the past when I became an atr. BTW, I had a friend who told me I could make money writing about the craziness I used to share.i said NO, cuz it goes on daily as a very common exoerience.ie not unique.

Anonymous said...

11:18 - That's just utter bullshit. When did Biden ever say any State should rot? Or threaten to jail his opponents? Or ask for someone to use the 2nd amendment on an opponent. Or threaten to withhold funds. Or not bother to actually do any President work because he's too busy ranting at 3 or 4 in the morning. If you can't see any difference, that's your problem. I have no regrets on getting Trump the despot and authoritarian wannabe outta there.

Anonymous said...

if rhetoric is the only difference you can point out, then once again, there is very little difference between them. let me know when any president makes substantial changes to domestic or foreign policy.

Anonymous said...

Rhetoric?? You think it was rhetoric that he wanted Obama jailed for treason? He just couldnt get anyone to it. It wasnt "rhetoric" when he convinced his lunatic followers to storm the Capitol and hunt for Pence and others. And yeah..policy..how about shutting down the offices dealing with infectious diseases which is why we're in the mess we're in. Dont speak, youre embartassing yourself.

Anonymous said...

Talking about jailing people is rhetoric, yes. He got the reasons for why people should be jailed completely wrong though, unfortunately. But anyway, the single NSC branch you are probably referring to...

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-trump-fired-pandemic-team-idUSKBN21C32

is not having that branch around why we had our recent extreme spike in cases? do all the countries doing well have their National Security Council to thank? and did Biden immediately reform that extension of the NSC, and solve all the problems that occurred from that unit being disbanded? there are many reasons we are in this mess, but that ain't one of them.

I guess everything will get better soon though, since we got this new guy that is so very very different and doing such vastly different things than all the guys before him.

Anonymous said...

Yes, dummy, the level of toxicity in this country has definitely toned down. No more "jews will not replace us" marches supported by a sociopathic U.S. leader". No more coercing governors to pull fake votes out of their ass. No more demands to have political opponents arrested. No more firing military heroes because they told the truth. No more disoaraging POWs. You like despicable and disgusting rants. I dont. The question was why won't people say they tegret voting for Biden. I gave my reasons. You dont like it or agree? Too fucking bad.

Nazis didn't go away..

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/florida/articles/2022-01-31/nazi-protests-held-over-the-weekend-condemned-in-florida

Whistle blowers (incliding military personnel) were jailed before Trump..

"During the Obama administration, the Department of Justice brought charges under the Espionage Act against eight people accused of leaking to the media — Thomas Drake, Shamai Leibowitz, Stephen Kim, Chelsea Manning, Donald Sachtleben, Jeffrey Sterling, John Kiriakou and Edward Snowden.

Two other high ranking Obama officials, General David Petraeus and General James Cartwright, were also prosecuted as part of leak investigations."

https://freedom.press/news/obama-used-espionage-act-put-record-number-reporters-sources-jail-and-trump-could-be-even-worse/

You think Biden will end the Espionage Act all of a sudden? He's already used it for leverage..

https://shadowproof.com/2021/04/02/dissenter-weekly-drone-whistleblower-biden-convicted/amp/

Jim Crow Joe has said plenty of disgusting things.. (ugh to the heritage foundation, but they compiled a little list to make this easy)

https://www.heritage.org/progressivism/commentary/bidens-history-getting-away-racist-remarks

..not to mention that horrific crime bill

You don't have to regret your vote, but where is the great substantial difference beyond current rhetoric?

Anonymous said...

"nazi protests in Florida". Are you dumb? Where did Biden throw his support towards those marchers? Do you seriously not understand the difference? My God, hopefully you're not a teacher because you have no reasoning skills and lack reading comprehension.

Anonymous said...

Biden has a long history of supporting segregationists, and their policies, some being Strom Thurmond, Ernest Hollings. Not to mention eulogizing a former KKK member, Robert Byrd.

as for support, here is his "fine people" moment...

https://nypost.com/2020/06/16/joe-biden-once-called-female-confederacy-group-fine-people/amp/

I understand the similarity. They are both garbage people. The difference is what, volume?

Anonymous said...

Yes, yes, I know you are fixated on volume, or whatever else ridiculous point you are desperate to try and make, totally ignoring the incitement to violence, the toxicity, the threats to withhold funds from NY and let them rot, and the attempt to steal an entire election while letting his followers storm the Capitol and doing nothing as the Leader of this country to try and restore order. A discussion with you is an exercise in futility because you are stuck on stupid, and apparently like it there. I'm not interested in Biden's ignorant past history, I'm interested in the here and now and when the choice is between Trump and Biden, or Trump and the bum on the corner, the choice was an easy one.

Anonymous said...

And I notice that James totally censored my first response, which I wrote so nicely too. LOL. But yeah..Vindman is NOT comparable to Snowden or Manning. Petraeus prosecution was NOT initiated by Obama and he certainly didn't go online and disparage him like the lunatic that Trump is so you need to get your stories straight. Please, go pull your head out from Trump's backside. It's embarrassing and disgusting. What kind of a person continues to defend a person like Trump anyway. Someone of very low character, that's who.

Anonymous said...

640/807.. The any blue will do crowd don't take a critical look at the people they vote for. Hence the any bum on the corner will do comment. It's a solid effort, but this persons eyes are closed to Biden's past, as they stated in their comment about not being interested in it.

Anonymous said...

458. Biden DoJ goes after whistleblowers too.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/legal-issues/daniel-hale-drone-leak-sentence/2021/07/27/7bb46dd6-ee14-11eb-bf80-e3877d9c5f06_story.html

Anonymous said...

10:16 The past is always present. Which is probably why while campaigning Biden told Black Americans, they ain't Black if they don't vote for him. He still sees Black Americans as a monolith, which lines up with his remarks on Latin Americans being a diverse community unlike African Americans. Something he also said while campaigning.

Anonymous said...

10:21 Where in any comment was there a defense of him? They are both terrible seems to be the narrative. Quite consistently.

And you adding little insults to your dialogue is, how they say, very "Trumpian." Isn't vulgarity the thing you hate so much? Especially going online to disparage people?

Anonymous said...

12:59 - guess what? I AGREED with Biden that "they ain't black" if they don't vote for him, so try another argument.

@5:11 - you think they're both terrible? And?? LOL. I don't care. I was responding to Anon as to why I didn't regret my vote and you've been here for days trying to...well, who the hell knows what you were trying to say. I never said I hated vulgarity. LOL. I didn't go online to disparage anyone. I responded to Anon2323 and you've been here like a dog to a bone trying to shove your opinion down my throat that they're both the same, because saying it once, twice, three times, saying it this way, and that way, and for days one end, was not enough. Looks to me that you're highly triggered when someone doesn't agree and yeah, that's disparaging. LOL. Like I said, stuck on stupid.

@12:46 - yep, a bum on the corner is a better choice.

Anonymous said...

12:59 - you're not black, so stop with the feigned outrage about what blacks should be upset about. Most blacks understood exactly where he was coming from.

Anonymous said...

12:47 another idiotic, and desperate comment trying to make a comparison. Vindman did NOT leak classified information. What a bunch of dopes.

Anonymous said...

5:11 - your only defense is "Biden did it too", "they're post garbage". At best an opinion, a lie, and/or distorted way of seeing things, but still, a ridiculous days-long counter-argument for why someone doesn't regret their vote when this was the original response "Why would anyone in their right mind want to vote for a despot, a raving lunatic who does nothing but rant and rage and threaten to jail his political opponents, real or imagined. Why would ANY NYer want to vote for anyone who wanted NY to rot and threatened to withhold funding during the pandemic. He's a nutjob, and so is anyone who supports him."

But yeah, to the deliberately dense the only issue is "volume". Just shut up. For all of your own attempts to shove down my throat why they're the same I still don't regret voting for him over Trump. If you don't like it, TOO BAD.

Anonymous said...

Trump and his entire criminal enterprise are cowards. They don't even have the decency, the courage, the fortitude to condemn his continuing incitement to violence and an overthrow of our government. NOONE in the entire history of our country has been as disgraceful of Trump and you all can't put up every link from now until forever and it still doesn't change the face that Trump is a career criminal and a danger to this country and to our democracy. So go right ahead and keep linking to each other because I will no longer read your right wing bred STUPIDITY and false equivalencies.
